Dan Thompson presents in a way that one is hearing and seeing what a master artist is doing to create the image. How often to you get to see how it is done from the first mark to the finish! I will and have rewatched it many times. Thank you Dan Thompson

This was the best course I have ever taken online. With Covid, I wanted to keep drawing even though schools and drawing locales were closed and so I went online. Having tried several options, this was such an informative and thoughtful presentation. I hope that Mr. Thompson returns to NY to teach another workshop. I am now back at the Art Students League and would love the opportunity to take a class in person with students and models.

No doubt about the instructor professional, but most of the time I’m not getting what is he doing/purpose of the stage of process. He uses many jargon words during his explanation which is not suitable to beginner (or non- art students).

Curso muito interessante. Explora os detalhes da construção do retrato e as pequenas nuances que fazem uma grande diferença no final. É para apreciar com calma e paciência, pois as aulas são longas, mas valem a pena acompanha-las. O aprendizado é grande.
