I come at this from the perspective of a photographic artist. I was hoping to gain a better understanding of how painting can inform my work. I am only in the first few units of this course and am very impressed with the material covered. The explanation of tonal values and lighting is already worth the cost of the course. Jean Fraisse is great at explaining the concepts he's covering and neither over simplifies or glosses over the basics. Very well done and highly recommended.

What I like about Jean is that he knows how to simplify all the theories in an easy way to think, it's not just a tutorial or repetition is a way to think about paint.
