Great teaching style. I enjoyed the course very much and my birds turned out better than I expected.

I learned to lot! However, my final project left a lot to be desired, but I'm not quitting. I'm going back and take the course again. Sarah is a great teacher: she has clear instruction and great demos. I love her paintings too!

I do recommend it, because you can go at your own pace and look back over the lessons, and the tutor has a good voice and presentation style, as well as much obvious artistic talent.

Yes, I'm not quite done yet but it is excellent. As a beginner, there is lots of basic information here to start you off. There are lots of little tidbits too that will help you to understand where you're going wrong if you've been working on it but have been unsatisfied with your results (like me!).

Sarah is an excellent teacher and this course is ideal for anyone trying to put some life into birds with watercolor!

I like that I can go back over units. It has given me a better understanding of blending and how to make your colour flow.

I recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn how to paint with watercolor. Sarah has structured this course so that the basics are learned while the student is engaged in creative projects. Each unit helps the student achieve an understanding of art theory and gain skills that can be transferred to drawing and painting any subject matter. Sarah definitely has a winner with this course!

I’ve been trying to paint with watercolor for a while. The course by Sarah Stokes is excellent. I learn so much from her especially color theory. I’m still working on my last project. Thank you Sarah.

While I haven't finished the course completely yet, Sarah has introduced some new techniques to try and I'm excited to watch the last few lessons and see what else I can do with watercolors!

I am a lapsed watercolorist and so the basic instruction from Sarah on tone, value and color was actually very helpful. Only halfway through the course, waiting for Christmas to be over to get started up again. Love the way she teaches.
