A wonderful course. Even though I am not an illustrator, I found the course to be enormously useful and attractive thanks to the very lucid way in which Silja Goetz explains the dynamics behind the creative process, regardless of the specific field one is ascribed to. As a book reader, I have been fascinated to discover the steps and conceptual work behind a (good) book cover. If you are looking for inspiration, I have no hesitation in recommending it to illustrators and non-illustrators alike!

I highly recommend Silja and this course to everyone interested in book cover illustration! Well produced vids, quick comments full of precise, helpful and valuable tipps to go one step further and edit the results one after the other. Learned a lot and i believe it helps me to stay focused for the next incoming jobs. Thank you.

Absolutely fabulous course! Silja Goetz is an excellent instructor. It was not only fun and engaging, but extremely clear and well thought-out. My only disappointment is that the course did not deal with book cover typography, which is, of course, a key element of a book cover. It would have been very helpful to see how the words on the cover would have interacted with the illustrations. Nonetheless, I highly recommend this course.

I really loved it! It's a mixture of what I already do to make my own book covers, and new techniques to make them more eye-catching. I found the teaching to be well-paced and clear; the best way for a beginner! Thank you so much Silja Goetz & Domestika! <3 <3

I've completed the course; reading and watching all the content and creating all the analogue material. I am going back and referring back to certain sections as I have yet to create my final cover.
Silja has a wealth of knowledge and the course is structured very well, with great examples and lots of information and extra resources to read up and get ideas from. I really enjoyed the course and would recommend it to anyone who wishes to get a concise and well paced book cover project.

YEEEEESS! this was by far the best course I have done in domestika. thank you Silja for showing me that I don‘t have to do everything perfect from the beginning to be a good illustrator. Watching you make mistakes that lead you to the paths that are (like a mosaik) leading to your final illustration were so inspiring.
