A lovely course overall. Animation is not my thing, but it is always good to learn from the general workflow that can be applied to other types of painting. Thank you.

This is a really basic course, for ABSOLUTE beginner artist in general. It's great if you have 0 knowledge on photoshop, because she is very didactic and explains tools and shortcuts and all sorts of really basic stuff that you need to understand how to PAINT anything (in this case a bg) . But I was disappointed because I thought she was going to explain how she designed the background itself and tell us about camera angles for animation which wasn't the case so unfortunatelly didn't work for me

Its a great course and very informative with many useful techniques. If anyone wants improve there skill in background painting then i will recommend this course.

I loved this course! Susan is a great teacher and explained everything very clearly. I also love that we are given the line art to use. It allowed me to only focus on painting, which is what I was most interested in. Definitely recommend this class.

Great course! She explained each step in depth so it's good for beginner background artists. I did find the audio a little off but used the subtitles as well. Overall, one of the best courses I've done online.
