This was an absolutely brilliant course! I have gleaned some great techniques that I am eager to try out. More close-ups of Alex at work are needed. When Alex is working with pencil, it cannot be viewed easily from over his head.One needs to see how the pencil is applied to the paper. Alex has given splendid examples/demonstrations throughout. I have so appreciated Alex sharing his thought process as he was painting. Thank you, Alex. I Love your work! (even those with coffee rings)

Excellent course for urban watercolor sketching. Alex has an amazing impressionistic style and a gift with color and shadow and it was so fun to watch the process. I can't stop painting! So inspired.

Really practical and excellent course. Alex Hillkurtz has such passion for his subject and it's really inspiring. I couldn't stop watching all the videos, so much so that I finished watching them all this morning as the course was released and finished my final painting this afternoon! I look forward to using more of the techniques as I move to capture more inspiring architecture in my city of Edinburgh!

Fantastic course and would definitely recommend this course to anyone with different levels of water colour knowledge. Alex Hillkurtz goes into a lot of detail from composition to colour. Very inspiring and looking forward to putting into practice what he has demonstrated
