I am a happy mother of 2 young kids, my 9 year old daughter is extremely creative and constantly creating books. she has inspired me to re discover my love for art. i used to study art and love it, however, have only recently begun a sketchbook again after 30 years. Returning from a trip to Hong Kong, and an art museum there, I recently found myself experimenting with Chinese inks and paper painting from instructions in books and occasionally natural objects. I used to specialise in drawing and sculpture but now would like to explore and experiment with as many different techniques as possible to be able to create better artworks. I would then perhaps like to find my own style and maybe even create a children's book with or for my daughter. I am particularly curious to learn more about Chinese ink painting, acryclic, goache, watercolour, oil painting and crayons, pastel crayons, - everything really, also using mixed medias and techniques such as collages.
