Hi, I'm Jerry from Malaysia.
I first trained as a graphic designer, then pursued interior architecture. Blending communication skills acquired from my early graphic design days in the advertising industry, I was able to comfortably combine complementary skillsets to produce some marvelous interior design assignments, throwing in corporate identity program initiatives as an added bonus to win over a client.
I've moved away from the hard commercial stuff and am now a creative writer, e-Publishing my own journals, and keeping abreast of the global design industry at large. I started hobby digital painting some years ago, sketch-paintings 'plein air', capturing mostly period architecture.
I learned about Art Deco in furniture styles and building concepts during the time when I studied interior architecture alongside fine art, but not before that.
I am fascinated by how you have applied Art Deco-style approaches on your illustrations - it's truly marvelous! I'm looking to re-style my digital pen-on-tablet sketches into beautiful illustrations – Art Deco style.
