I am an amateur photographer and enthusiastic cook. I love doing still life photography. Food, fruits, flowers and vegetables are my favorite subjects. I love to create still life photos that are on the darker side of the value scale. Playing with light and shadow in still life photography is endlessly entertaining. I like the works of Caravaggio, Pieter Claesz, Abraham Mignon, Johannes Vermeer, Willem Claesz Heda and other Vanitas painters of the 1500's.
