Aranzazu Zamora

Animator from Mexico City, her personal style is influenced by images of monsters on medieval maps, the exploration of the psyche resulting in dark stories with bright colors using stop motion and 2D techniques to bring her characters to life.

She was co-founder of the Casiopea animation studio in Mexico City where she worked as director and animator from 2013 to 2018. Her work within the studio was notable for collaborating with cultural, educational and environmental institutions.
