Apryl Burrows

I started arts, crafts and sewing around age 10. Fell in love with fashion at age 14 and pursued my studies in Fashion Design at FIT in Manhattan, New York in 1996 and a year later at Polimoda in Florence Italy.
I have always loved manipulating fabrics and textiles to make my garments different even if the fabric was the same as someone else’s.
My aesthetic has changed from Elegant Evening Glamour to more of a Resort Glamour. I draw on my surroundings of the island that I live on. Bright colors, prints, straw, sealift, leaves are some of my inspirations.
