WOOMERA

We are Manuel Jacob and Andreas Vierheller, two digital creatives from Berlin, who both grew up in Southern Germany. We met in 2005 in Ulm, where we both studied "Digital Media" with a very concept-heavy focus, influenced by Bauhaus and HfG Ulm.
After graduating in 2009, our paths crossed again in 2011 and we founded our creative studio "WOOMERA Web & Video" in Berlin.
From the beginning, we focused heavily on the production of explainer videos, which were very new at the time, and the development of mobile-friendly web content. Of course, we also got into content strategy and after 12 years in the business, we have now moved into branding strategy and consulting.
We love storytelling and problem solving - both are our main source of inspiration. And yeah, we like to have fun while doing it too.

In case you're wondering, "What the heck does WOOMERA mean?".

A woomera is a traditional Australian Aboriginal spear-throwing implement used for hunting. It consists of a long wooden handle with a hook at one end to hold the spear, and a carved notch at the other end to provide leverage when thrown. The woomera is used to increase the speed and distance of a thrown spear so that the hunter can hit his prey from a greater distance. What the WOOMERA does for the hunter, we do for our clients. We don't tell them how to hunt, nor do we modify their hunting equipment. But our services tie directly into what they do best to gain more leverage, reach a larger audience and achieve their goals with greater accuracy. We bet that from now on you will never forget what a "WOOMERA" is - whether you care or not ;)
