Bil Derby

I am an Architectural Technologist whose career started conventionally as a draftsman in architectural offices before moving on to roles as varied as designer, project manager, and, for the past 18 years, as an owner of a construction management + design-build company. Having recently retired from the construction management business I have returned to design, primarily of custom homes and commercial renovations, and to photography. In and amongst a working life I served as an Officer is the Canadian Armed Forces Reserve where my principal tasking was to the Canadian Cadet Organization, a Canada wide youth development organization. My hobbies include photography, design, hiking + backpacking, al of which are supported by a growing passion for long travel.
