When the pandemic struck, like so many people it was devastating for my work. I have been a milliner for around 12 years now, making fascinators and hats for people to wear at weddings and special occasions, and teaching others how to make their own. No weddings or social gatherings happening, meant no work. If I wasn't a milliner, who was I?!
In time, I started to see it as an opportunity. It has been a chance to explore, learn new skills and maybe move in an exciting new direction. Domestika courses have been amazing for this, and it is like taking time to be in art college, which is something I never had the opportunity to do.

I have always loved to craft, to be creative and to learn new things. My other passions are my cats, getting out into nature, birdwatching and curling up with a good book.
