I like to make abstract paintings, but never fully realized how to utilize a sketchbook in support of my paintings. Sarah van Dongen's course: "Sketchbook Exercises for Artistic Growth" is excellent and fun. The exercises are useful and introduce purpose and meaning to sketching.
