I studied Illustration at Edinburgh College of Art more than 45 years ago. I went onto to work as a Comic Strip Artist, working in a realist style on Boys adventure comics and SF titles, then in a more cartoony style on The Real Ghostbusters comic for Marvel UK circa 1988 -90. Then I worked as an Educational Illustrator, a part - time Art Lecturer and also as a Mural Painter. I am married with two grown - up children. Between 2002 - 2007 I worked for The Beano, drawing Ivy the Terrible and other strips. I also completed a Crime Fiction Graphic Novel - Socorro, written by Steven Grant, which remains unpublished to date. Since 2008 my Illustration work has been part - time as I took on various jobs and I am currently an Autism Practitioner. I hope to retire soon and return to spending more time on creating Artwork and Illustrations.
