Tom Romano

I'm a freelance artist and have been for 38 years. I've done commercial and private commissions. I've done some comics work from 1989-1995. Comics is my passion, but I love all types of illustration whether it be painting, portraits, landscapes, concept and character design, graphics, abstract,etc. My favorite artist is Andrew Loomis. I love his books and his style of art. I have many favorite artists, too many to mention, but some of them are N C Wyeth, Andrew Wyeth, Frazetta, Rockwell, Sargent, Jackson Pollock, James Gurney, Alex Ross, Frank Cho, Jerry Ordway, Arthur Adams, just to name a few. It's a very varied list and would go on forever. I'm current doing freelance work for Dynamite Entertainment doing the Sketch Card Series. I'm actively practicing and improving my painting to be able to get work. My goal is to be a student, constantly learning and improving, and to have fun along the way.
