Merlin Showalter is a camera/steadicam operator and cinematographer based in Los Angeles, California. Originally from Portland, Oregon, Merlin has spent the last decade shooting commercials, music videos, and narrative films. His work has garnered millions of views online through his collaboration with artists such as Pentatonix, Lindsey Stirling, CHIKA, and Pomplamoose, to name a few. Commercial projects include work with Grubhub, Subaru, Adidas, Fender, Yamaha, American Express, Warner Bros. and more. When not behind a camera, Merlin enjoys performing all styles of music on his drum kit.
