Thelma Marais

I am a contemporary artist from South Africa with Masters degree in Fine Art from the University of Pretoria. My favourite mediums are watercolour, ink, collage and mixed media painting. My works represents personal reflections on my life, my past and traumatic experiences from childhood. I also love creating artist books, sketchbooks and visual journals as a way to tap the subconscious for links between my emotions and imagery
