Being an Artist!
I live in Somerset, but I come from Lisbon, where I had a BA in Scenography and studies in Fine Arts.
I have experience with different materials, producing theatrical props, costumes and murals.

As themes of my current canvases, paper and digital softwares, I bring inspiration from landscapes/seascapes and portraits, and I always get enthusiastic about cartoons.

I like the immediacy of acrylic and the delicacy of watercolours, the character of pastels and recently the deep sense of colour in oil, but I am also fascinated by the potential of digital applications.

I keep active to find opportunities for exhibitions and stay connected to accept commissions and to sell my prints, watercolours and cards, rather from Portugal and local shops in Minehead such as: HomeComing Dunster, Dunster Castle retail shop, Clematis Cottage and Doniford Farm Park. I entered on “Endangered Life” art work to the Sketch for Survival Art Competition of 2021.

My recent commissions have been for animals’ projects.

As the latest challenge I have improved my oil painting and watercolour portraits, combined with graphite and ink sketches.

At the moment I am reviewing and investing my ability for digital work.
