I retired from sales and new business development management 10 years ago. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 50+ years. We have two wonderful children and four active and interesting grandchildren.
A navy veteran of the Vietnam war. I became a hard charger after my discharge trying to make up for the four years I lost to my non-veteran peers. Work was all consuming.
As the years progressed I traveled the world for business and pleasure. I would find myself making horrible sketches of places I had seen. My desire was always to have time to devote to improving my abilities. I have always been attracted to sketching and watercolors.
My goal to leave behind a series of projects for my family that tells what I have experienced and my values. Maybe a few sketchbooks with presentable pieces will help.
