Tami Wood

My name is Tami. I remember my fist drawing was a portrait. I remember my parents being so proud and saying I had real talent. My main bent is to draw pencil portraits. I took art all through middle and high school, and it was always the subject I loved the most.
I’m 43 now. I have done art off and on throughout my life. I went to about two months of tattoo school, I drew portraits for people in my community for about 6 months, but I haven’t felt like I’ve been able to commit to anything fully throughout my life. I have 3 boys who are 18, 17, and 16. My middle son was born severely disabled. That has been what all my time and energy has gone to. Now that my two “typical” boys are old enough to drive themselves and take care of themselves, I’m trying to get back to some of my roots in art. I bought this course on a whim. I’m also beginning tattoo school again. I don’t have much education with any particular styles of art, and I don’t really know any artists, but I am willing to learn!
