We are blessed with many grandchildren who we see regularly. I live in an old building that we gutted and created 6 apartments on the property. Even though I am not an architect I helped with a lot of the ideas and even changed some of the floor plans. And loved being involved in the process. Our property has become a family compound. My sister is in one apartment and one step daughter and husband and 3 granddaughters in an apartment upstairs. The cousins love to be together so we are looking at how to make our home more multifunctional so everyone can sleep here on the weekends more comfortably. I was originally involved in holistic health, and became a Doula as well. Later in life I went back to school and got a masters in not for profit management and philanthropy Studies and work for a Family Foundation. My other pursuits are genealogy, gardening and growing some of our food, arts, crafts and writing and long prayerful walks. l speak 4 languages and particularly love Spanish.
