After shooting several Weddings and Special Event projects, we would make music cd's for some of our customers. My ideal to shoot a informative documentary on social issues was birthed through the unfortunate and horrific tragedy of Mike Brown and Trayvon Martin!!! After these young Blackmen were assassinated by the police and many single parents (male and female), as well as married couples, telling their children that they cannot go outside wearing "hoodies", braids or locks in their hair. And many other things to that nature, in order that they might return home on a daily basis.
This is a tragedy in my opinion, especially in a place commonly referred to as "the greatest 'country' in the world" (that is certainly up for debate) and supposedly a free country!! Thus my idea to make a documentary letting everyone know... Black, White, Brown, Yellow and Red that they are #BornFree which is the name of my documentary currently in production!!
