Saúl R. Bautista

I was born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Canary Island, and I lived in Salamanca. I’m a Cartoonist.

I studied in Spain, in the School of Art and Superior of Conservation and Restoration of Salamanca and later in the School of Art and Superior of Design of Gran Canaria.

I am self-taught, I started drawing at an early age. Artists like Milo Manara and Richard Corben introduced me to the world of art and comics, later I was influenced by Miguel Angel, Rafael, David, Ingres and Delacroix, from whom I learned anatomy, among other things.

My work usually revolves around mythological themes, centered on the human figure, eroticism, religion, fantasy, animals like dinosaurs, monsters, fantastic beings and historical figures.
