Sofia Tagliabue

First things first, nice to meet you!

My name is Sofia and my motto is: La Poésie est dans la Rue, french for: "The poetry is in the streets" and my personal view of it, it is that you find your metaphorical and personal poetry along the way and with every single step you take on your own path.

I consider myself an intuitive, curious and determined person. Details oriented if I might say.

Since early age I spent hours watching over and over the making of movies from the Disney's animation ones to "The Lord of The Rings"and so on.. I was just completely fascinated and absorbed with everything going on behind the scenes.

I love literature, art and music too. But working stably in Cinema is my long term goal. I just could not think about anything else more accurate and sensibly realistic to represent a story or an emotion.
(And I am working on that! )

I have a strong and useful background in foreign Laguages and Literatures plus a Master of Arts in Producing Film and Television in UK in november 2019.
Unfortunately most of the times, studying and Masters are expensive, and in order to do my first Master I had to graduated to a classical address school before (since my relatives didn't really wanting me to study Cinema) Anyway, Since then, aside different short films and videos I managed to produced my fist feature film and last year, even with the pandemic situation going on, I was able to start working as assistant location manager on the pre/production of a feature film for Television in Munich, Germany and nowadays I am about to start a new adventure as Producer for a Company in Milan. But I am always open to new projects, collaborations and opportunities.

BUT regardless of that, I had always been curious and keen on costume design, gazing endlessly at it in every single film or TV series I watch. So when I saw the course I thought..why not!? I want to have a better look in to it, and this is a start for sure.
