I am a former tattoo artist of 4 years. I quit tattooing about 3 years ago. I enjoyed making tattoos but came to the realization it wasn’t the right career for me. I began tattooing immediately after finishing my AFA. During my career as a tattoo artist my whole style revolved around designing tattoos. I didn’t explore my own style outside of design work for clients. During the last year or so of tattooing I began to do all my design work using digital programs, something I did very little of prior. I am still mostly interested in furthering my illustration work digitally, but now I am learning to do so while also developing my own artistic style.
I now make digital illustrations using Procreate. I have just begun learning Blender. Blender really excites me! My plan is to focus on it for the time being. I also use traditional mediums. Modeling clay and watercolor are my two favorites.
