Finally started working on Master's level work (at 50 yrs old) with a school in Florence, but the next year is on hold for finances. So I was glad to find Domestika in the meantime to continue to learn, it's the level of work and skill I am pursuing (the school focuses on the Russian classical approach). Learning human figure and portraiture is my priority.
I have a BFA in painting but never really learned the right skill sets in my university experience. I've been a carpenter/woodworker/furniture designer for most of these years but want to transition solely to visual art and sculpture. I do not have really any "art" credentials (shows, exhibits) due to running my carpentry business over the years. I'd like to build up my portfolio and begin to market my work.
