Anastasia Shneps-Shneppe

I am a multidisciplinary artist with an experience as a writing editor in several magazines related to the topics of interior and product design. Graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Hertfordshire (2022) and the performance art course from the Latvian Performance Art Center (2019). A member of the cross-disciplinary, international research group PeARL (Performance Artistic Research Lab). As well as individually, I work in collaboration with other artists. As a part of an artist duo with British artist Rebecca Korn, I has recently won a commission to make new public sculptural work for the Sculpture Quadrennial Riga festival taking place in 2024. While working together with artist Alexandra Pavlovskaya under the hyp|hen name, I explore the politics and poetics of friendship at a distance.
