Stephen Hughes

A former journalist and teacher, I am a voice and dubbing actor, director, and producer with 30 years of experience. Every once and a while I also act in front of the camera. I am also a published poet and write almost every day; sing often, occasionally for more than just beer; and compose from time to time. My interests also extend to cartooning, illustration, and the plastic arts, as I wrote art criticism for a Barcelona contemporary arts magazine for two years, as well as occasional catalog texts and translations.
I was born in Buffalo, NY; raised in Miami, FL; and educated in Coconut Grove, FL, Princeton, NJ, and Madrid, Spain. I have now lived more of my life In Spain than in the USA. I work in both American and British English (RP), and I also speak fluent Spanish (not surprisingly), passable Portuguese, spotty Italian, and even spottier Galician.
