My name is Sigal.
I'm an artist.
A lover of colors and shapes.
An open-water swimmer and an adventurous hiker.
I am A freelance illustrator and a painter and
I LOVE what I do.
In my eyes, every surface is a potential easel and every location is a potential studio.

I draw everywhere, anytime, on everything.
Drawing is my favorite form of expression.

I am passionate about giving a visual shape and interpretation to words, ideas and emotions. To stories and tales.
My specialty is hand-made illustration. My fortes are water colors, color pencils,inks,and acrylics

The world of nature inspires me in all it's forms: from shells to seeds, from whales to insects, from oceans to sand dunes.
My work is also rooted in ancient cultures and mythologies, in science fiction, steampunk and the fantasy world.

I live and work in Israel, in the picturesque town of Zikhron Yaakov, on Mount Carmel, overlooking the Mediterranean sea.

I'm a graduate with distinction from the "Avni Institute of Art and Design" in Tel-Aviv. A member of the Society of Children's Books Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI).
My work has been published in solo and group exhibitions.
