Bobbie Kelly

In 2017 at the age of 63 after raising twins and embarking on various careers, I finally put pencil to paper out of frustration with there being nothing but bad news on TV. In an attempt to keep my hands busy and not throw my shoes at the TV, I took my normal habit of doodling to newer heights. Moving from drawing, to painting with watercolor to scratchboard art and pastels. Some of my work has been printed and sold, and I have been approached by various venues to show. The learning process for me never ends, and I revel in each new tidbit that I learn from other artists’ styles, methods and experiences. Artists are some of the most generous and compassionate people I have met in my life journey.
