Renate Schaeffer

I was born in Germany and my family emigrated to the US a few of us at the time. First my aunt, then brother and then my parents, sister and I. I've been here many years and have recently joined a fun group of Germans who are willing to teach me how to speak German again. I read and write very well but since I haven't been around Germans, I'm a bit rusty speaking the language.
I'm 80 years old and want to be an artist. I've read tons of books and looked at many artists work and am ready to go.
I am having trouble finding my way around and trying to find my courses and am running behind everything. But I have time and will eventually find my way around. I'm excited to be a part of this group and a couple others too.
