Paige Garrett

I am a nurse. I am also a writer, a storyteller by nature. I am also an amateur photographer hoping to start a small business I can enjoy and have fun with.

I realized a some time ago, that these careers are similar in that they both see and care for people in their most honest state. Being able to see that person, whether in caring for them in a medical context, or writing about them, their stories, or photographing them, it is the same. I think once you see someone in their most honest state, you cannot help but become their friend, or at the very least show them compassion in caring for them.

I have never had any formal schooling in photography, and that is something I would love to do someday.

For now, I am enjoying this course very much! I was drawn to your class because you love honesty in portraits as I do. Thanks for your work!
