Introduction

I choose a local traditional shop in Kent, England to paint. It's not glamorous or whimsical, but it's a simple and easy start.

Supplies

Winsor and Newton Cotman Watercolours, DecoTime aqua marker sketchbook paper.

Initial Sketch, Finelined

I knew I couldn't fit the whole roof in, but at least the important details are there. Played around with the contents on display. I ignored the parked cars in the window reflections because that's not interesting or traditional to me.

Final Painting

Fairly happy with it, but I want to be bolder with the colours and have stronger lines. Well, it's a start and my friend liked it so much he asked to have it!
