Introduction
Singing Octopus. My daughter drew on the wall and every time I work out, I see a singing octopus. So I drew it for her to put on her wall.
Supplies
iPad, procreate, and lots of references.
The look
I want it to look like the actual wall drawing so I tried to make it a similar shape as the original drawing. Then I had to decide how the legs were going to look.

The outline
Once I had some of the look down, I need the outlne. However I didnt like the the line shape in the first outling, so I recolor and redrew.

Color
Time to pick the color scheme. My daughters favorite colors are pink and purple. So I started with a base and worked my up. Utilizing my layers, by adding diferent colored textures (speckles).

Bubbles
Now to spice it up with some background fun. with draw one bubble and duplicating.

Water
I gradient blurred together some blues and added a little yellow for sunlight.

Sharpening
Lastly I added a little color balance, perspective blur, curves, and HSB.

This would look amazing for a toddler or baby room or even in a play room.. I love it.
