Hello, my name is Karolina, and this course has been an amazing and inspiring journey through various styles and mixed media techniques. It offered a fresh perspective on art, as I hadn't experimented like this in years. I must admit, I truly enjoyed it! This project presents three unique poster designs, each reimagining the theme of Mouse & Bear through different artistic influences and techniques. While unified by a single narrative, each piece tells its own story, shaped by distinct visual inspirations.

I used colorful paper sheets with different textures, along with crayons and scissors, to create a collage. I then combined everything in Procreate.

1. Collage
This is my favorite one. It’s a textured, layered composition that brings the scene to life through a tactile, mixed-media approach and vibrant colors. I focused on the animals' faces and eyes to highlight their emotions, making their connection feel more intimate and expressive. The combination of cutouts and assembled elements creates a dynamic and engaging composition. What's more, the image itself tells a story, drawing the viewer into the unique bond between Mouse and Bear.

2. Yordan Radichkov influence
2. Yordan Radichkov influence
This poster was inspired by the poetic and surreal world of Bulgarian author Yordan Radichkov, as well as his distinctive sketches and illustrations. The forms here are slightly geometric, while the color palette remains bold and vibrant. Yellow is often associated with happiness, while purple conveys spirituality, magic, and inspiration. Together, they blend harmoniously, enhancing the warmth and coziness of the scene.

3. Tribute to Danuta Konwicka’s book cover 'Zupełnie jak w filmie'
3. Tribute to Danuta Konwicka’s book cover 'Zupełnie jak w filmie'
It's reference to a cover of the book 'Zupełnie jak w filmie' created by polish illustrator Danuta Konwicka. Comparing to the two posters above, this one is much darker and bolder. I took from the graphic and structured approach, drawing from the book cover’s aesthetic to reinterpret the theme 'Mouse & Bear' a cinematic, and minimalist style.

So nice! I am SO glad you liked the course and got the opportunity to explore styles like this. And I enjoyed reading your presentations, it adds a lot when you are looking at the work. I know the Polish cover you are referring to, love that one. Very nice illustrations, well done :)
