Introduction
Introduction
For my final project in Character Design Sketchbook: Storytelling with Pencil, I wanted to explore the power of narrative through expressive character sketches. Inspired by the course’s emphasis on storytelling, I focused on creating an illustration that showcases the personality of my squirrel.
Throughout this process, I experimented with observation, adding textures and props to bring my characters to life. This project has helped me refine my ability to convey stories visually while embracing the spontaneity of pencil work.

Hi Judit,
Thank you so much for sharing your process and final project. These sketches are lovely, and your knitting squirrel and those prop sketches are really endearing. I hope you enjoyed the course and that you'll continue to develop this character and others in the future! :)
