This project consists of creating a website for a photographer whose main intention is to show his work in a digital portfolio with the aim of attracting new clients. His specialty is analog photography, focusing on three main areas: concerts, bands and urban photography.

- Adobe Photoshop ha sido una herramienta clave en la edición y optimización de las imágenes que aparecen en mi web. Su uso me ha permitido ajustar colores, mejorar la calidad de las imágenes y personalizar su apariencia para que encajen con la estética del sitio. Un ejemplo específico ha sido la incorporación de un borde de carrete de película en algunas imágenes, aportando un toque más analógico al diseño.

- WordPress (Software principal) combinado con el plugin Elementor, ha sido la plataforma central para la creación y estructuración de la web. Elementor me ha permitido diseñar la interfaz de manera intuitiva, arrastrando y soltando elementos sin necesidad de programar, lo que ha facilitado la personalización de cada sección del sitio. Gracias a esta herramienta, he podido gestionar tipografías, colores, imágenes y la disposición de los distintos bloques de contenido, asegurando un diseño atractivo y funcional.

- Para lograr una identidad visual coherente y única, he añadido manualmente una serie de fuentes personalizadas a mi web. Estas tipografías han sido seleccionadas cuidadosamente para transmitir el tono y estilo que buscaba, ya que las opciones predeterminadas no se ajustaban completamente a mi visión.

- Antes de empezar a construir la web digitalmente, realicé bocetos a mano con papel y lápiz para definir la estructura general. Este proceso me ayudó a visualizar cómo se distribuirían los elementos, asegurando que el diseño fuera claro, intuitivo y estéticamente atractivo antes de trasladarlo a la web.

Its use has allowed me to adjust colors, improve the quality of the images and customize their appearance to fit the aesthetics of the site. A specific example has been the incorporation of a film reel border in some images, bringing a more analog touch to the design.

WordPress (main software) combined with the Elementor plugin has been the central platform for the creation and structuring of the website. Elementor has allowed me to design the interface intuitively, dragging and dropping elements without the need for programming, which has facilitated the customization of each section of the site. Thanks to this tool, I was able to manage fonts, colors, images and the layout of the different content blocks, ensuring an attractive and functional design.

- To achieve a coherent and unique visual identity, I manually added a series of custom fonts to my website. These fonts have been carefully selected to convey the tone and style I was looking for, as the default options did not fully match my vision.

- Before starting to build the website digitally, I made sketches by hand with pencil and paper to define the general structure. This process helped me to visualize how the elements would be distributed, ensuring that the design would be clear, intuitive and aesthetically appealing before transferring it to the web.

El proceso de creación de esta web comenzó con lápiz y papel. Antes de trasladar cualquier elemento al entorno digital, realicé bocetos detallados sobre la estructura y la navegación del sitio. Me enfoqué en una distribución clara e intuitiva, asegurándome de que las imágenes fueran las protagonistas y de que la experiencia del usuario resultara fluida y natural.

Desde el inicio, tenía claro que el diseño debía reflejar la esencia de la fotografía analógica del fotógrafo, por lo que adopté un enfoque minimalista con toques artesanales. Para lograr esta fusión entre lo digital y lo manual, integré elementos visuales inspirados en lo analógico: marcos de foto que simulan los bordes de los carretes fotográficos, texturas sutiles que evocan papel fotográfico y etiquetas físicas (tags) que estampé a mano, escaneé y digitalicé para usarlas en la web. Estos detalles aportan una estética única y transmiten la sensación de estar explorando un archivo fotográfico tangible.

A nivel de diseño, prioricé la limpieza visual y la jerarquía de contenido. Las imágenes ocupan el espacio central, con textos mínimos que sirven únicamente para contextualizar el trabajo sin restarle protagonismo. La navegación es sencilla e intuitiva, permitiendo recorrer las tres categorías principales del fotógrafo: fotografía de conciertos, retratos de bandas y fotografía urbana. Cada sección está diseñada para sumergir al espectador en el estilo del fotógrafo, destacando la textura, el grano y la composición característica de su trabajo analógico.

Para reforzar la autenticidad del concepto, utilicé tipografías con un aire vintage, pero sin sacrificar la legibilidad. Además, los colores de la web son neutros y sutiles, dejando que las fotografías sean las que aporten la fuerza visual. La interfaz es limpia, sin elementos innecesarios, con transiciones suaves y una estructura adaptable a cualquier dispositivo, asegurando que la experiencia sea tan envolvente en móvil como en ordenador.

El resultado es una web que no solo funciona como portfolio, sino que también representa visualmente la esencia del fotógrafo y su enfoque artesanal. Es un espacio digital que mantiene el espíritu de la fotografía analógica, combinando la precisión del diseño web con la imperfección y el encanto de lo hecho a mano.

I focused on a clear and intuitive layout, making sure that the images were the protagonists and that the user experience was fluid and natural.

From the start, I was clear that the design should reflect the essence of the photographer's analog photography, so I adopted a minimalist approach with handcrafted touches. To achieve this fusion of the digital and the manual, I integrated visual elements inspired by the analog: photo frames that simulate the edges of photographic film, subtle textures that evoke photographic paper and physical tags that I stamped by hand, scanned and digitized for use on the web. These details contribute to a unique aesthetic and convey the feeling of exploring a tangible photographic archive.

In terms of design, I prioritized visual cleanliness and content hierarchy. The images occupy the central space, with minimal text that serves only to contextualize the work without detracting from it. Navigation is simple and intuitive, allowing the user to explore the photographer's three main categories: concert photography, band portraits and urban photography. Each section is designed to immerse the viewer in the photographer's style, highlighting the texture, grain and composition characteristic of his analog work.

To reinforce the authenticity of the concept, I used vintage-style typefaces, but without sacrificing legibility. In addition, the colors of the website are neutral and subtle, letting the photographs provide the visual strength. The interface is clean, without unnecessary elements, with smooth transitions and a structure adaptable to any device, ensuring that the experience is as immersive on a mobile as it is on a computer.

The result is a website that not only functions as a portfolio, but also visually represents the essence of the photographer and his artisanal approach. It is a digital space that maintains the spirit of analog photography, combining the precision of web design with the imperfection and charm of the handmade.
