Hello,
Congratulations on completing the course and thanks for sharing your final project with the community.
I absolutely love these pictures! The glowing light and beautifully blurred background create a stunning and soft atmosphere—well done! There’s very little for me to correct technically, but I do have a few small suggestions that could help refine your work even more.
First, try lowering the highlights in post-processing to avoid losing detail and sharpness in the brightest areas, such as the sky in the first picture and the petals in the second. This will help retain texture and prevent overexposure, especially in those delicate, light-filled spots that are key to your composition’s impact.
Second, since your subjects aren’t moving and you have the luxury of time to carefully craft your composition, consider how you use the space within the frame. In the first picture, the left side of the frame feels a bit empty and doesn’t contribute much to the overall balance of the image. You could try shifting the vase to the left, filling the space more effectively while also eliminating distractions, like the pole sticking out from behind. These minor adjustments may seem small, but attention to these kinds of details is what can take an image from good to truly professional, especially when you have the opportunity to control every element in a still-life setting.
Overall, you're on a fantastic track. By being mindful of these subtle elements—like balancing the frame and fine-tuning exposure—you'll continue to elevate your photography to new levels. Keep up the great work!
Thanks again for sharing your project.
Best of luck,
Giulia
