My project for course: Fantasy Landscapes with Watercolor & Gouache

As a beginner in watercolor and a first time user of gouache, this project was very challenging. The background was easy but once I tried to "imagine" the painting I got stuck. For a week, haha. Then I uploaded it into Procreate and practiced drawing some images which helped me open up and explore the possibilities. In the end I loosely followed Ruth's painting adding a few elements of my own.
The class has helped me realize what I need to work on - brush control, drawing elements, fine details. Such a great class to learn a variety of skills, thank you Ruth for this excellent experience.
