Hello, Ugo @archineos .
It's great to see you stepping out of your comfort zone.
I notice a very free and experimental look in these photos, really from someone who is experimenting with new ways of seeing and photographing. And even though you experimented a lot, you managed to give cohesion and unity to the series.
The series has great photos. I especially like 1, 3, 7, 8 and 11, 12 and 14.
For me, in these photos you took risks and still managed to find a balance between beautiful or thought-provoking shapes with content that connects us with the image.
Some others have come close to this, but they don't work as well, at least in my opinion. For example, in 4, the human figure is very faint in the frame. Maybe it would be better not to have it. 5 is interesting, without a doubt, but compared to the others, perhaps a little more predictable. In number 6, the lack of light and that woman's tongue, who also stares back, break the image for me. On the 13th, there seems to be a lot of unnecessary noise on the right side. And the last one is well constructed, but this character's look doesn't add much to you, the lighting is very dull, and the total symmetry makes it lose a little energy.
Overall, excellent work, I think the place and its experiments have a lot of potential!
@gustavominas Thank you very much Gustavo for your careful review. I agree with what you expressed and certainly, in my next rounds, I will try to correct the weak images, as you expressed. I had a lot of fun exploring and seeing my city that we often take for granted in a different way. Since I changed my approach towards street vision I have much more pleasure in taking photographs and going around looking around. Thanks again for this course which I enjoyed a lot. Hearing your vision was invaluable and inspiring. I will treasure the material and hope to see you again who knows in a live workshop or maybe in a new online course. In the meantime, good light and thanks. Ugo
