My project for course: Illustrating the Natural World with Watercolor and Charcoal

Thank you Sarah for such an engaging and enjoyable course. I really appreciated your friendly teaching style, which made me feel safe and supported throughout. As a beginner to watercolour, when there is so much to learn, that's just what is needed! I've learnt a lot, have a long way to go, but you're an inspiration.

I did two versions of the final project, this being the second, as I felt the background of the first went a bit awry when I tried to darken it around the daisies! I painted this second version to try to learn from my mistakes. I painted it more quickly than first time round, and maybe the bees weren't perfect, but overall I felt it came out better than the initial attempt.
