The photos are a little different from each other, but they point some ways.
I like what you tried to do in the first one, but I think the flash fired didn't help you much, because the man passing by is in shadow, and the part illuminated by the flash doesn't add as much.
I loved the second one, with this large area of shadows and just the signs and other subtle details illuminated by the flash, which here really worked very well. It's something you can explore around any corner to see what happens.
The third is extremely descriptive and a little impersonal. Architecture ends up overlapping with you as a photographer.
And the fourth has an interesting vertical composition, with the monochrome buildings being contrasted by the yellow of the bus. This contrast between the gray of the city and splashes of color can also yield interesting images.
