Hi Simon, thanks for sharing this study! Always fun to paint Indy! This is really cool, with lots of nice detailing. I would just say that perhaps the face could be brighter overall (even though it's technically in shadow), and I think you could take some of the details like wrinkles further, so as well as showing those wrinkles on the chin, for example, you also show the light and shade around them/being caused by them. You've certainly captured him though.
@Sam Gilbey Thanks Sam, I agree on the facial lighting. I think I probably didn’t go quite as far as I’d of liked with my artistic license on this one.
Maybe a v2 is required!
