Thanks Alec for this course! I really liked your way of explaining your work and above all the practical advice for transforming ideas into a concrete project.
I have been drawing as a hobby for a long time and I really liked your working method. I followed the phases of the project you described and how the final result arrived.
I had experience with pencil pens and I experimented the use of the nib for the first time. Fantastic! How could I do without it until today.
Thanks Alec, looking forward to your feedback on my final drawing

Teacher PlusWow, Riccardo, thanks for this awesome comprehensive post! I appreciate you sharing all the steps of your process here - I know it will be useful for other students to see.
I'm glad to hear that you found the course helpful - I can see that you paid careful attention to the lessons! I love how each steps gets a bit more detailed, saving the finished drawing for the final inking stage. This is a smart way to work, so that you don't waste time on too many details early on.
The final inked page is great! The lettering is very clear with plenty of room in each panel for the text, characters and backgrounds. The drawings are very appealing with a consistent use of hatching and crosshatching. I hope this will be the first of many comics pages you draw with the nib - you're already off to a great start with it!
Thanks so much for taking the course and carefully documenting your process along the way!
