@hiruthmok when I first started drawing trees it was definitely a struggle, I do work using a photo but I don't actually try to copy the details, I look at the overall shadows/highlights of the area first and then look at the textures and shapes. I'd say always start with too much light because you can always add more ink, but once the ink is down it's not coming off.
Fujiko, if I remember rightly, you won landscape artist of the year and went on to do a superb scene in Venice. I am not familiar with using ink and how complex it must be but I enjoy very much looking at your work and wish you every success.
