Finished project.I used a fabric texture to give a painting look. I call it “last exit before Mars”I inked this in procreate. I think I should have had a thinner brushThis is the pencil drawing
I love the surreal quality the final has to it as well as the experimentation with fabric as a texture!
This a very fun final and I think the choice of having the flying spacecraft being the subject is an interesting choice. Also appreciate the crosshatching on the clouds as well as the textures in the house.
I want to know more about why they're over this house in particular and I'd love to find out what it's like when human interact with them. You captured a fantastical moment in time that a child and adult would want to know more about for sure.
I hope you continue with these subjects in your future projects as well as try to experiment with more forms of inking and color palettes!
I would also like to add i think it would be interesting to see how you could take this idea and these creatures and put them in a 3d space like one of the pieces you showed in the intro. I think that might give you more range to see how you can play with perspective in your 2D drawings.
