What should I embroider (for my partner)? ~ maybe this could be the topic or title of the story.
I used old photos of my mother and used a mixed technique.
My mother not only sewed but also embroidered.
Based on the photos, I drew on transparent paper with ink. I took out 2 (green) prints that I had made long before, I used them too.
The creative process itself was very interesting: I felt almost led. Step by step, the story evolved almost by itself. I am grateful for the intuitions I received on the fly.

Hi @kikelet21 I congratulate you on finishing the project and I love the turn it has taken! I really enjoy the embroidery technique too and combining it with your drawings and photographs really looks great. The background of the illustration in this case is interesting, since the embroidery has a much more powerful meaning than the technique itself. It seems to me that this project could continue it and transform it into a book about it or perhaps expand it to other activities that women do or that we have stopped doing. Thank you very much for participating and sharing your project, I hope to see you soon :)

Thank you, Fatima!
Your course was very inspiring to me because I have long wanted to process family photos. I got a lot of useful tips and a good overview of this from you.
I just finished your course but didn’t finish :-) Because I’m sure I’ll come back to it several more times: I’ll watch your videos and related texts, useful content, web links again.
I wish you more good teaching.
With love: Ida *** from Budapest (Hungary)
