I have known one thing about myself - I knew from a very young age that I was "art" - it has never diminished, it is always present. Now more than ever, art is a sacred experience. Approaching the blank sheet or panel and knowing that the image is there, in the medium, already - I just need to show up - preferably at the same time every day - take pen/brush/pencil in hand and begin. I am never disappointed and it is my own form of meditation...
